challenge analysis

I'm glad it's done now. I like some of what I produced for it, but overall, the quality suffered under the deadline pressure and prompt constrictions. (I always have that problem with challenges, it seems - my writing gets either rushed or cramped.) Otoh, it kept me writing all summer long. Normally, summers are long dryspells for me, writing-wise. Most of my writer's blocks happen in summer. So I guess flawed stuff is better than no stuff. (And I'm getting better with icons, I think.)
( The table: 17 D/M fics and 13 icons )
I wanted to have even more variation pairing-wise ;) Now there's: Three/Delgado!Master (4 fics, 3 icons), Five/Ainley!Master (2 fics), Ten/Simm!Master (2 fics), Two/WarChief!Master (2 fics), Valeyard!Handy/Ainley!Master (1 fic), Four/Delgado!Master (1 fic), Koschei/Theta (1 fic), Three/Ainley!Master (1 fic), Shalka (1 fic, 1 icon), Six/Ainley!Master (1 fic), Eight/Ainley!Master (1 fic), Gatiss!Master/Doctor (1 fic) and a bunch of rather non-shippy icons.
Things that I wanted to write but didn't: Eight/Jacobi!Master, Eight/Delgado!Master, Seven/Beevers!Master, more Shalka.
My favourite of the bunch: Solitaire (even though others might objectively be better.)
