God, I'm so clever. I totally guessed the big reveal of this week's Heroes last week.

One of the guys in my role-playing group came back from a convention yesterday and he gave me an issue of "Dr. Blink, Superhero Shrink" just like that, for free. It's a very cute book! I squeed so much :D Seriously, I think the key to my heart is free comics.

I've never done anything for Halloween before, but this year I'm going to go with some friends to Karlsruhe to... have a housewarming party with horror movies *g* And I'm going to do Halloween themed lessons with my students.

In other news, I got a good start on my Doujinshi Challenge fic for plnunn's challenge. It's already way too plotty (lately, everything I write immediately results in excessive world-building - maybe my subconscious really wants to be writing original fiction...) but I think the core plot (which is indeed Savage Land inspired) should work as a short comic.

Question (for fic) :
What exactly do we know about the Kawatchee Indians, Naman and Segeth (I haven't ever seen "Talisman" in full), and previous connections between Krypton and Earth? There were kryptonian artefacts (stones of knowledge) in China and Egypt... Help!

Not much to say this week. This episode wasn't so exciting (but unlike the OTHER show I watch, it had no moments that made me want to gag, either. Well, except the gore.)

My thoughts on ( Four Months Later )

So this wasn't a bad episode, but it also wasn't terribly exciting. Kind of like Smallville season openers tend to be: underwhelming after a great finale. (Well, "Zod" was that way... and the Season four opener. All the other seasons actually had better first than last episodes.) Let's see how this one does!

This kinda sprang out of my head fully formed. Dunno if it's any good. Also, I've realized that obviously my OTP in this fandom is neither Sylar/Mohinder nor Claude/Peter, it's Bennet/Claude, but there's no slash in here.

I just finished watching Season one of Heroes. That was some damn entertaining television :D
