Hello from France. The weather has turned less beach-y, and there's only so many medieval cities like Carcasonne you can go sight-seeing in, plus I feel like I could write something. So here's a little prompt game I cooked up.

Once more I fail at keeping things as short as I want them to be.

This is JLU, with some Superman: TAS thrown in. (Some lines of 3. are direct quotes from the episode "A Better World", and one of these is a coda to the TAS ep "Brave New Metropolis". Spoilers also for "Destroyer", the JLU finale.) I interpreted "saving" a little... loosely. ;)

Animated Lex Luthor

JLU!Lex is badass, maybe this essay will convince you. If you know him already, maybe you have suggestions - or fic recs. They'd be greatly appreciated. So is feedback :)

1) I need a quick beta/proofreader for my toon!Lex essay for the idol_reflection com. idol_reflection is basically the height of fannish geekery, you get to write an essay about your favourite character. So if someone who knows JLU and Superman: TAS would like to have a look at it, that'd be great. (Deadline is April 1st, so there's still a few days left, the essay is ca. 3800 words long.) I offer toon!Lex fic in exchange! You know you want it!

2)More than half of Spring Break is over. I've decided to switch my majors, which means next semester I'll do only English. Heaven! (I think I've signed up for way too many courses, though.) Also, I've done nothing this break but write and occasionally go out with friends.

3) I'll probably travel Russia in summer with my Grandma. Russia! Woah. I never thought I'd go there. I'll see her next Sunday and we'll make plans :D

4) I have so many (unposted) WIPs that I don't know what to write! ( State of the WiPs )

5) The fandom I wish I were writing for doesn't exist. I write for an audience who knows and loves toonverse DCU, has moderate knowledge of comicsverse DCU, and at heart ships the Clex of Smallville. I mean, the audience exists, but it's small. Please, SV fandom, when the show is over, can you all just migrate to comicsfandom?

These are all part of Devil's Deal continuity, and are meant as prequels, but they could also be read independently. Number one and two would be SV fic, number three Superman: TAS fic and the rest JLU fic. Some lines are direct quotes from TAS and JLU. They're in chronological order (spanning about 10+ years.)
