Heroes - "Kindred"

Not much to say this week. This episode wasn't so exciting (but unlike the OTHER show I watch, it had no moments that made me want to gag, either. Well, except the gore.)
1. Sylar is back! I missed him, and yes, I have fallen prey to the lure of cute serial killer. Like woah. *draws hearts around Brainman* I'm sad Candice is apparently (never say never with an illusionist) dead - she just got a little interesting. And I love that she offered Sylar Sylar as a fantasy. (Where the hell is he, thought? CGI-land?)
2. I don't like poor man's Clark Kent, aka West. I'm pretty sure he might be lying to Claire. And what is up with Claire suddenly all shocked about her Dad? Didn't she know before what his job was? He wanted to take *her* in, so she really should have known. For some reason I now want a fic where Claire and Claude have a TALK.
3. Okay, I'm sold on the Suresh-Parkman family, and I liked Matt this week. Mohinder continues to be pretty, and I agree: he's in way over his head, and Mr. Bennet, awesome though he may be, is totally bluffing about being in control. On the other hand: how is Bennet financing all this and his family? He must have some hidden resource, or else he was really well prepared for his sudden and unexpected change of heart. (But if they kill Mr. Bennet, I'm totally quitting this show.)
4. Aww to Hiro's letter to Ando, and double awww to Ando's shiny eyes of wonder when he read it. And Evil Japanese Boss amused me. Evil!Boss/CopyKingdom!manager = OTP 4eva! Maybe Hiro will become his own grandfather. Or maybe he'll kill his own grandfather (with many greats, of course)?
5. Gosh, Peter, can't you just stay happily in Ireland with your new family of criminals (complete with big brother type) and, well, not bore me any longer? That one guy was on another show, and I just seriously had to wrack my brain to remember which show, and for some reason confused him with Doyle from Angel (whose actor is dead, isn't he?) and now I finally remember: He was that one dude on Enterprise!
6. They killed DL! I didn't expect that. Micah and Niki are back, though! They weren't my favourite characters but Micah's grandma (?) looks like fun. And Niki has another bad idea how she's going to "help" her family. Yay.

Noah Bennet is far too popular to be killed off. (If I say that often enough and firmly enough it may become true!)

Date: 2007-10-09 09:55 pm (UTC)Woah, that's a cool theory. My most only real suspect so far was West, and he's an obvious red herring. It would be very fitting if Linderman's killer also killed the rest.
Except Bennet, of course.

Ditto on Sylar (for the longest time he bored me, and yet now I was all squee when he appeared!), and Mohinder's adorable little family where he and Parkman argue over their daughter's love. Aww.
George Takei, Nichelle Nichols...can Leonard Nimoy be far behind? Or Walter Koenig! (oh, please, Walter Koenig, he can play smirky evil like nobody's business!)

Date: 2007-10-11 08:22 am (UTC)Noooo -- I want Peter and Nathan back together! They're my Heroes OTP! And now that Sylar has reappeared, I'm all scared he's going to take Nathan's brain (once he gets his powers back, anyway) and then go around impersonating him. For that matter, what did happen to Sylar's powers? Did the Company really find some way of temporarily/permanently removing them?
confused him with Doyle from Angel (whose actor is dead, isn't he?)
The actor who played Doyle is dead? Really? *mourns*
