idol_reflection com. idol_reflection is basically the height of fannish geekery, you get to write an essay about your favourite character. So if someone who knows JLU and Superman: TAS would like to have a look at it, that'd be great. (Deadline is April 1st, so there's still a few days left, the essay is ca. 3800 words long.) I offer toon!Lex fic in exchange! You know you want it!
2)More than half of Spring Break is over. I've decided to switch my majors, which means next semester I'll do only English. Heaven! (I think I've signed up for way too many courses, though.) Also, I've done nothing this break but write and occasionally go out with friends.
3) I'll probably travel Russia in summer with my Grandma. Russia! Woah. I never thought I'd go there. I'll see her next Sunday and we'll make plans :D
4) I have so many (unposted) WIPs that I don't know what to write!
1. Next part of Elseworlds. I have Part 5 half-written, but now I've reached the point where, technically, I'd have to rewrite Infinite Crisis and all it's tie-ins. Everyone who knows Infinite Crisis knows this is hell. Maybe I'll just end the fic with "and then they destroyed the world and lived happily ever after and had lots of sex." And I'm not sure if what I had in mind for part 4 will actually work out.
2. That fic about Post-"Destroyer" Lex where he returns from the Source. Technically a part of "Devil's Deal" continuity, but a prequel instead of sequel.
3. possible sequels:
- the continuation of BatLex and Clarkwing
- the backstory of CharlesXavier!Lex and Magneto!Clark
- a "Seven Soldiers of Victory" sequel
4. The fic that I'm totally not writing. You know the one. The post-apokalyptic dystopian hooker AU darkfic where they join the resistance. Problem 1) it's a post-apokalyptic dystopian hooker AU darkfic where they join the resistance. Problem 2) it's not Smallville fic. It's JLU fic. Problem 3) Lex is a mean, evil, exploitative bastard and won't stop being one. This is supposed to be hurt-comfort, Lex, not hurt-and-then-more-hurt-the-Kryptonian fic.
5) The fandom I wish I were writing for doesn't exist. I write for an audience who knows and loves toonverse DCU, has moderate knowledge of comicsverse DCU, and at heart ships the Clex of Smallville. I mean, the audience exists, but it's small. Please, SV fandom, when the show is over, can you all just migrate to comicsfandom?
