hoperoy tagged me with this. I've done it before, but I've written tons of fic since then, so I decided to do it again, but only with new fic. So these aren't my overall favourites, but my favourite stories I've written this year so far.
WRITER'S MEME: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of the top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
1. Five Moments of Doubt
Harry Potter post-DH fic. I must confess I love this partly because of the amounts of feedback I got for it both here and on fanfiction.net, but I've also been impressed everytime I re-read it. This is one of the fics I'm most proud of, and probably one of those I'd give real life friends to read if I had to.
2. Five Reasons Lex Luthor Became A Criminal
It's very short, it's well-paced and it's a pretty good character study of Smallville Lex. It's almost more of an essay than a fic.
3. Seven Soldiers of Victory
This is far from perfect (it feels like it's been written in an awful hurry) but it's a *fun* fic.
4.Elseworlds Parts 1-4
Naming these four as one fic feels like cheating. They're completely independent of each other and all very different. The first and second are relatively short and bleak, while Bat!Lex is probably one of my better long-and-plotty fics and Flash!Lex is a nice hurt-comfort. If I ever get around to writing a part five, I'm going to indulge and write lots of commentary about this.
5. Everything I've written with JLU Lex in it. Seriously, why am I not writing more toonverse?
It's been a while since the meme went around, so I don't know who did it. If you haven't and want to - you're tagged!
