I'm back home in Heidelberg. 1000 km in one go on the autobahn/autoroute is the opposite of fun, but otherwise everything went just fine.

Three weeks in France with my family turned out to be not so bad :)

Yeah, long drives suck. I've driven cross country in the US far too many times, to be honest. It's good to hear you're back safe though, and that you had a good time in France. I'm a little jealous. I didn't get to France while I was in Europe. Or really anywhere in Europe I could actually use my six years of French. It was quite sad, really. We were even in the German parts of Switzerland and Belgium. One day I'd like to actually visit, though I'm sure my French is mostly gone by this point.
