Happy New Year & Yuletide Reveal

Happy New Year, flist!

My wishes for 2011: that it'll be as good as 2010, that I'll write more and that it'll pass less quickly. I doubt the latter will happen, though.

Both my yuletide stories were written by mtgat, which surprised me because I was really sure they'd been written by two different people. Thank you, mtgat, for writing me not just a long story, but a treat as well!

My own story is this:

A Game of Shapes
Fandom: Norse Mythology
Characters: Loki, Thor, Odin, Baldr, also Loki/Odin
Words: 6883
Written for fluffmonkey, betaed by x_los
Contains: Adventure, several love stories which are untrue, some prophecies, a stolen child, a transformation chase or two, cheating death, genderqueerness, contests of riddles and insults, Loki and Thor being BFF, and Loki and Odin being... something. Blood brothers, possibly.

Also, I've forever exhausted by quota of "descent into the underworld" stories. FOREVER.

When I got your comment on the treat that you didn't get a full-length story, I felt bad, and I figured I could revisit that fandom again. Then I found out you were a DC fan, and dude, the second story wrote itself. elynross helped me get it up that night. I'm glad that you liked the final result; I had a blast playing with Lex in that universe.
