Audio!Eight is wonderful. I think he's quickly becoming my third favourite Doctor. Also, his theme music/intro music is the best, even though visually, the first colour intro from the Pertwee years is still my favourite.

Storm Warning
Decent story, and I liked the aliens in it, but Charlie annoys me right from her first appearance. Also, the Doctor says, "We used to ride them bareback at the Academy!" XD

Seasons of Fear
A story in which Charlie isn't annoying! Woohoo. Sebastian Grayle wasn't a bad villain, either. And I love how the Zagreus theme goes through the whole first season, giving it cohesion.

Minuet in Hell
My favourite Doctor-Brigadier reunion story ever. Srsly, the Brig is just so wonderful in this audio. I have a love/hate relationship with stories set in psychiatric wards, especially if they include traumatising therapy methods, but since this is DW it has of course a happy ending. Also, it has a poor man's Buffy. Charley is becoming one of my least favourite companions, though. I suddenly appreciate Rose so much more!

But why in the world does Big Finish feel the need to diss America? That was the least flattering portrayal of Americans I have ever heard in fiction.

Something Inside
I confess I listened to this purely because it had Eight in captivity. I may have a bit of a kink. And it had amnesiac!Eight, too, like every Eight story ever.

Charley is one of those characters you either love or hate, I think. And I like her a lot now, but it took me forever to warm up to her.
