Smallville episodes

bagheera_sanI'm catching up on Smallville. My thoughts, here they are.
That was a kinda boring episode. Might have been more interesting if I hadn't been spoiled (bad flist!)
1. Can this please be the Brainiac and Bizarro show from now on?
2. Lionel! I missed you! And, OMG. Lionel quoting Oscar Wilde? I love you, show. Lionel never really changes, and that's good. I think what I like best about Lionel is the genuine warmth he manages to project, and that last scene with Julian... oh, yes.
3. I loved Chloe's and Lana's bitchfest about who knew Clark better, but Lana's behaviour towards Chloe was some of the suckiest ever.
4. Last time it was polar night, this time it is day at the Fortress. Yay! Total absence of continuity!
5. Jor-El's parenting never ceases to amaze me. He and Lionel are such soul-mates.
6. My reaction to Bizana while watching: a) Look, can it please finally be canon that Lana is not normal?! Next it'll be Brainiac who falls for her! b) Wait... if Bizarro truly loves Lana... then Clark... c)Awww... yes, Lana, go! Go with Bizarro! You're cute together! d)... wow, it's canon that Lana will tell you she loves you and kill you in the same breath.
I felt really sorry for Bizarro, and I'm delighted how SV acknowledged that all was not happy in Clana-land afterwards. (Almost ten episodes of Clana and I still don't hate it this season. Good!)
7. "I'm ... damaged." Brainiac was *great* in this episode. I loved how vulnerable James Marsters portrayed him in that scene with Dax-Ur.
8. Between this and Gemini... hello, seriously completely crazy!Lex.
