Ooh, I saw the new trailer for Doctor Who S4!


I actually liked the old one almost better. Sure, this had shiny, goo-ey Martha, but the other one didn't have Donna/Doctor. I wanted Donna to be the one to yell at the emo!Ten and make him get a grip on his Time Angst (Which I love to bits, the angst, but nevertheless someone needs to yell at him, so he can make cute confused faces.)

The episode with the historical costumes looks shiny, and the hand coming out of the vat - never bad. It might be part of the episode with the blond woman in glasses we saw in the old trailer: I bet that's the Rani. I'd love it if she were, because there needs to be snarky Rani-commentary on... well, everything, but mostly on Ten's Master-emo. And the Rani should totally have geeky glasses and pills that give eternal life :D

There's also Rose. I want Rose to come back older, wiser and tougher and *leave* the Doctor at the end of the episodes she appears in. Not be separated from him, but leave him, so the rabid shipper will get less rabid. (Unlikely.)

And were those UNIT soldiers I spied? *glee*



I also watched Tomb of the Cybermen, which is *infinitely* better than the New Cybermen episodes in S2. I think Jamie is rising very quickly in the ranks of my favourite companions, and Victoria isn't bad either.

Random fact: commenters on YouTube are a new and degenerate species of human being: the level of stupidity and incoherence is *astounding*. Classic Who episodes are one of the few places were coherent comments can be found.
