Oh, my -- it hadn't occurred to me to wonder what sudden exposure to yellow sunlight would feel like to Kal-El, and this is...amazing. I love the way you've described Kal's reactions, and I love Lex wanting him so badly but trying so hard to control himself. Fantastic update! (But why did Zod want all the Kryptonians on Earth weak? So he and his chosen forces could secretly be super-strong and without fear of rebellion from his own people? Now I'm picturing Zod walking the Earth disguised as a human, soaking up the sunlight....)
