Ooh cool, Rao worship! Does the title come from the prayer? Yes, mostly. Or maybe the prayer comes from the title. I considered different titles. My favourite was "Blazing Mountains Bury Kings", but it belongs to a different kind of story (I think that story should by a cyberpunk story with King Arthur themes.) Light and Silence have several meanings for this story, so I picked that one.
