I just finished reading "Devil's Deal" and to say I loved it would be putting it mildly. If I tried quoting the parts I liked best, this comment would be far to long, so I'll just summarize:
The history between Clark and Lex, as friends, as raging enemies, as tired and wary adversaries, the showdowns in the Oval Office... it gave such a sense of how much time has gone by for them, how much has happened.
The way Clark has been waiting for Lex to do something like this, so he can justify becoming part of Lex's life again, and how he was so happy, he couldn't let himself see what was really going on. That sex scene was just--wow.
The entire journey into hell--the descriptions, the wording, the pacing, all of it.
Kon! God, I *love* Kon, and I love fics where he reunites (so to speak) with Lex and Clark more than anything, and the characterizations, and the humor, and everything was just perfect!
