bagheera_sanI'm planning my birthday party atm and I'm a BIIIIT nervous about it because this is the first time in many, many years that I'm celebrating at my place (I think the last time I had a party at my place, I was eleven years old...)
In addition, many of the people I invited don't know each other: there's my flatmates, my roleplaying group, my TA colleagues, a friend from my year in England, some other roleplayers and assorted randomers. If everyone comes we'd be about 20 people but I expect that it'll be more like 12-15.
But what do I do with them? This is where I need your help. Tell me your favourite party games and activities, preferably ones that help people to loosen up (remember: everyone I know is an awkward nerd of some sort) and get to know each other. We have a small-ish house and (probably) cold bad weather.
