selenak: The one in which you post the first sentence of the first story you posted each month this year:
January
No fic in January!
February
If Lex had had faith in humanity left, he would have lost it during Lana's trial, because during that trial, certain points about human nature were proven, repeatedly, and human nature didn't get away very well.
(From: Except Batman, possibly, that one time. That is one long-ass sentence! And hey, I was still writing SV then!)
March
Lex often falls asleep on the couch, close to the fireplace.
(From: Reset)
April
Right now, Yana is a true blank sheet of paper.
(From: But the battle is lost)
May
They have a room with a window, a view.
(From: Mind/body, which is not actually anthropomorfic, but Theta/Koschei)
June
"Perfection?" the Doctor called out, softly because their hunters were still close.
(From: Saints)
July
The Doctor could feel the TARDIS shift around him like water, rolling over his thoughts in small waves.
(From: Living Things, Part 2)
August
John Noble was a soldier.
(From: Crossroads)
September
"Oh, this is precious," the Doctor said, his voice icy with disdain.
(From: Rush into Slow Pace)
October
No fic!
November
The Master didn't need to sleep.
(From: Luxuries)
December
No fic... yet.
As usual, I've been the most productive in spring, the time of fertility! Some animals make babies. I make fic. May/June/July are my favourite months of the year. I also like how in March there is a fireplace, in November, there is sleep and September is already icy, but May has a room with a view.
This also marks the first year where I've written a couple of original stories.
