I've been working at this private tutoring school one afternoon per week since last September. I honestly didn't expect to last this long, because from the beginning I had mixed feelings about the job and I've never been employed this long in my life before. Actually, when I started, the deadline I set myself was: you're going to do it at least until next year/semester. And next semester is now (next week) and to my surprise, I haven't quit yet.

The job isn't badly paid (9,50 € per hour, so usually I get around 170€ per month) and it certainly isn't terribly hard or sucky work (most of the time. Some classes are comprised of awful students.), but I dislike the way the school exploits the students, and I have the feeling that the job is causing me a lot more stress and preparation time than it's worth (usually I spend the whole Wednesday on it). They keep asking me to teach French, which is ridiculous and because of this job I've not taken the opportunity to take a couple of jobs at uni that would have been much cooler if less well paid. Besides, I don't really need the money urgently - in fact, I don't seem to spend it on anything useful at all.

I have the perfect reason to quit: new semester, less time. The job has no contract, so I can quit whenever I want, but I KNOW they're going to stress me about it.

Oh god. *dies of nerves*
