... Manga "Artist" by night.

Because I'm bored, this is a completely random post about how, way back when in 2003 (;P), I used to be a Doujinshi Artist. Strictly seen, Doujinshis are the Manga equivalent of fanart/fanfiction, so actually, these should be called unprofessional original Manga.

I was young, impressionable and hip-deep in Anime fandom and around that time it was very fashionable in the German community to draw your own Manga and publish them on the web. Not long ago, I looked through the files on my PC and found my three big oeuvres of crime, boylove, cyberpunk, kitsch and people with big eyes and big hair...



The art is of varying (but gradually improving) quality, but the stories are invariably... well, what fandom would call crack, mixed with heavy angst and badfic tendencies.
