I loved it to bits! Which I didn't expect at all, since last year when I was in Petersburg I tried to read The Idiot and gave up after the first fifty pages. But C&P I could hardly put down and read it in 4 days or something. I could identify worryingly well with Raskolnikov *g* Also, great amusement was had every time Svidrigailov showed up. Dounia and Sonia surprised me with female character awesomeness - well, it's just terribly readable.

I've never been hated either. And I've only ever gotten one flame ever... and that was on ff.net were it's hard to tell the difference between flames and the usual incoherence.
