Fantastic chapter! I love poor Kal-El's confusion during the escape and all the violence, and his desperate attempt to save what he's certain is an innocent life, and his horror that he himself has taken a life, however unwillingly. Moreover, Lex's fierce skill in fighting is perfect, as are the Batman's escape in the Sunrider and Lois' determination to save Chloe. (Personally, I can see Lois as evil, since she seems pretty nearly evil to me in SV, but I can see her as obnoxious-but-non-evil, too.) I'll admit to great dismay when Oliver Queen showed up, given my intense hatred of the character, but I'll try to remind myself that your Oliver might not be the sadistic sociopathic scumball he is on SV. Of course, we now have the meeting with the rebels to look forward to in chapter 4. And were Lex and the Batman staring at each other with recognition...?
