Huh. Well, since I've been in SV fandom, I've met a lot of really helpful people like you, I got great and intelligent feedback, I got recced, people gave me paid LJ time without expecting anything in return - wow. Okay, there was the wank, but that didn't concern me. And as far as I can tell, most of the BNFs have left the fandom.

Maybe I *do* live in an AU world, but if so, I don't wanna leave it :D
