acampbell's. A drabble resulted, because the whole baby/marriage plot was just ridiculous and because according to Al Gough Lex is only evil because he wants to be loved.
Tricked
"No!" Clark cried, panicking at Kara's suggestion, "Lex and I never - !"
"Didn't you tell me Lex was into weird science?" Kara asked innocently; she was taking the news calmly, maybe contemplating the survival of their race.
"But," Clark weakly said, then sank down on a bale of hay, clutching his stomach. How would he hide this? No, Lex, I'm just a little weight challenged recently, not pregnant with your evil spawn at all?
Some miles away, in his comfy mansion, Lex Luthor busily compared teddy bears, his mood light with sinister triumph.
The fake baby tactic never failed.
