Fantastic update! I can't help sympathizing with Kal-El, who had honestly never realized until now what his people had done to the human race, and I love the fact that Lex is one of the mutant-rebels, and I purely adore Lex looking into Kal's eyes and personally guaranteeing his safety. But just how high up in the resistance is Lex? Can he keep that promise? *worries* And what was Lex's purpose in posing as Kal's partner, anyway? He didn't seem to expect a Kryptonian, so I'm guessing it wasn't a trap for Kal from the start...or was it? *weighs possibilities and waits patiently for the next chapter*
