Sometimes, when you study something as inherently ornamental as Literature, you think you haven't actually learned anything in all the years you went to uni. But this week is full of little moments of success that make me think that maybe I have learned things.

Like the bit where I attended a course that's meant for first years because the topic sounded interesting and thought: WTF is this, why is this so easy? (Also: why does the teacher look younger than me?!)

And today another student asked me for advice about uni bureaucracy and which professor to pick for oral exams and I was able to answer all her questions. With ease.

And just now I'm reading a SV fic from years ago (written in my first semester) and discovering tons of grammar mistakes that I would easily be able to correct now. (Also, I think I've improved a lot as a writer.)
